Cell’s editorial team has indicated difficulty in identifying reviewers from Brazil in the field of immunology of infectious diseases. This initiative was conceived by Dr. Camila Coelho (Mount Sinai, USA) and Dr. Sri Devi Narasimhan (Deputy Editor, Cell) to strengthen the pool of reviewers from Brazil who can evaluate articles on Zika, Chikungunya, Oropouche, Leishmania, Plasmodium vivax malaria, and many other infectious diseases in which Brazil has extensive expertise. Expanding this reviewer base will help shape global publications and increase the visibility of our scientific community. In light of this, they conceived a form to gather interested researchers.
The form must be completed by November 30th: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeyhabuFZLV6WRM3vPV1iBNhdq18kZ9ydiwR_Jx4c4hhyGCJQ/viewform?pli=1&pli=1
Established professors in Brazil with experience reviewing high-impact manuscripts are encouraged to complete the form and share it with their colleagues.
